HOUSING LIST FOR STATES A-M
Updated 10 Feb 2021
Derek W. Logue of OnceFallen.com

NOTE: If you need general tips on finding housing, please visit our "
FINDING HOUSING" page.

ABOUT THIS LIST: In 2021, my housing list became too long to manage on a single page, so in an effort to help keep this list easy
to access, I have broken the housing list down into two parts starting February 2021. This housing list covers state beginning with
the letters A to M.

Post-Release Housing Options -- Transitional Housing, Shelters, and Renters open to Registered Persons

For the first few years of OnceFallen.com's existence, I had less than a couple dozen leads for the entire USA. Now, my housing lust
has grown so large, I needed to split the housing list into TWO separate pages. Scroll down to the bottom of this page

NOTES AND DISCLAIMERS FOR THIS HOUSING LIST

HOUSING OF ALL KINDS IS IN HIGH DEMAND! If you are a transitional/ halfway housing director, referral service, or any other
kind of housing provider accepting people convicted of sexual offenses and you with to be added to my housing list, please send an
email with your name and a description of your program/ property (with info on how to contact you) to iamthefallen1@yahoo.com

I also maintain a private list of housing for those not wishing to be listed publicly. Contact me to see if I have any housing not listed
for your state.

Many transitional/ halfway house programs listed  may only accept residents from within the state (and in some cases, they only
accept residents of specific counties). Please keep that in mind, as many programs are flooded with inquiries due to being posted on
this site. Although I do my best to maintain the list regularly, I cannot guarantee that just because a place is listed here, you will be
automatically accepted.

Because places constantly change I cannot guarantee that any housing lead is currently open/ has openings or accepting registered
persons, either on my site or elsewhere. This page has been up since 2008 when there were less than a dozen leads, now there are
hundreds of leads, and while most housing leads listed here have been extrapolated from legitimate websites, places can open and
close or change policies without notice. If you find a defunct listing or information on this page is inaccurate, please let me know by
email at iamthefallen1@yahoo.com

FEDERAL PRISONERS: The housing options listed on the OnceFallen.com housing list may not be helpful to those seeking an
approved "Residential Reentry Center" (RRC)/ Halfway House. Under the federal system, you serve 85% of your time with the last
10% (up to 6 months) spent in a halfway house. To get your 6 months halfway house, you need to have a halfway house that can
take you. If none are available, you spend that 6 months behind the fence. Because each location are subject to state and local
different residency restrictions, some of these programs may be unable to accept someone with a sex offense conviction. A directory
of approved federal RRCs can be found at https://www.bop.gov/business/rrc_directory.jsp

Additional Info: Matthew 25 Ministries City of Refuge is a rental community in Pahokee, FL that provides housing for men and
women transitioning back into society and who cannot find other housing because of state and local residency restrictions.  We are
not a halfway or transitional housing program.  In fact, we do not run a program at all, although there are some classes offered
through Jacob's Destiny Church, our non-denominational congregation here in our community. For our residents who are required to
attend state-mandated counseling, Dr. Ben Taylor of B & K Counseling Services comes to our community every week to conduct
group sessions at the resident's expense. Our rent starts at $500 per month and there is a one-time administrative fee of $300 due
before the resident's arrival.

MINNESOTA

The following listings were found at the website www.housinglink.org, a website that helps locate housing for Minnesota residents
with a variety of needs. The full list can be found at:

https://
www.housinglink.org/HousingResources/supportive-transitional-housing

The listings that do not explicitly exclude RCs are listed below as of 10 February 2021. Please note that simply being listed here does
not confirm there are openings or that these housing programs are equipped to help Registrants or have a focus on Registrant needs,
only that there are no explicit exclusions listed. Some may not accept a Level 3 Registrant. Many only accept residents of a specific
county. I’m assuming that a “hands on” offense would likely count as “person-to-person” violence for purposes of ineligibility.
